Introducing the first Lingerie set from :. WoE .: ! Olivia is available in nine colors with scroll detailing in the fabric. The set includes a strapless corset, thong panties and Cuban heel stockings and each piece is edged with intricate matching lace.

The corset is laced up the back and the thigh-high stockings feature a back seam along with the Cuban heel. Olivia is available on all layers, including the new tattoo layers for those of you using Viewer 2.0!

Each set includes four shades of stockings - Black, Red, Tan and Brown.

Currently released in the store are the first 8 colors: Blue, Fire, Forest, Gold, Pepper, Steel, Gabby and Ryker. Stay tuned tomorrow for the announcement of the final color in an exclusive location!

Also, with the release of this Lingerie line, I am introducing something new. In front of each one of the Corset sets you will see a black gift box with a pink ribbon. September 18, 2009 is the day to Wear Gray for a Day - Many designers have teamed up to raise Brain Cancer Awareness and have created exclusive items just for this event. 50-100% of proceeds are being donated to the American Cancer Society. Although Friday the 18th is nearly over, grey is a good color any day, and every day is a good day to raise awareness about this very important issue that has recently taken America's beloved Ted Kennedy from us much too soon, and I know that many SL residents have been personally touched by this disease.

Through The Looking Glass Hunt and WoE

The TTLG Hunt begins Monday May 25th, and runs thru July 4th, and WoE is participating!!! Once again, WoE has created a fantastic outfit, available only thru this hunt. And of course, it includes a girls version and a guy version too. The Mirror you need to find is out and ready to go if you want to get an early start. You'll find it at the WoE mainstore.

Some have wondered what the Through the Looking-Glass hunt item from WoE has to do with Alice in Wonderland - well, here is the explanation of the symbolism.

The gifts are guys jeans and a graphic T-shirt with Bill the Lizard on the front and "Feed Your Head..." on the back. The girls version that is included are the Boyfriend Fit version of the guys jeans and a girls version of the graphic T-shirt - mirrors of each other (almost) - thus "Through the Looking-Glass" (looking glass - mirror...).

Bill the Lizard, after Alice takes away his pencil, is provided with ink when the Queen spill ink on his face - thus "Feed Your Head...".

"Feed Your Head" is a line from the Jefferson Airplane song White Rabbit which draws comparisons of hallucinogenic drugs with the imagery found in the fantasy works of Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass.

Prim Colors Match at WoE

With Linden Labs release of Second Life Viewer - Release Candidate 1.22 the avatar mesh has now been fixed (changed). Previously the avatar mesh had a default grey shade. This caused the textures for clothing to be slightly darker on the avatar then they really were.

(Note: See JIRA VWR-8012 )

This also caused the clothing texture to be darker than any attached prims with matching textures. To combat this, most prim attachments were tinted grey instead of white - matching the avatar mesh. As of RC 1.22, the avatar mesh is now white and eliminates the need to tint prims so that the tone of the textures match.

We know that not everyone is using the new client. Some of you are using older homebrew version, and others are using 1.21 and up. To this end we have started including two versions of prims in our newest releases. Starting with the new Kloe jeans you will now have both tinted and untinted prims.
